Senior React Native Engineer for SDCs NEoS Frontend mobile app
Do you want to join a leading fintech company?
Would you like to be part of building and rolling out a new digital banking solution for our customers in the Nordic markets? Are you excited about delivering compelling digital user experiences? Then we need you!
We are an agile team working with state-of-the-art digital banking experiences, enabling customers to fulfil their financial needs via self-service.
Working at SDC
Working at SDC's Frontend Team is an opportunity to thrive in a flat and agile structure, make fast technical decisions, and have a high level of influence as you work cross-functionally and collaboratively with an international team of experienced engineers.
You will work within your enthusiastic squad day-to-day, developing new features and closely collaborating with the product team to design, estimate, and implement new feature requests. Our team is dedicated to self-development and constant learning, and we strive towards improvement and challenge the status quo. We embrace modern technology and love trying out new technologies while sharing our knowledge with others.
To succeed in this role...
You will have to bring an engineering mindset and versatility that can adapt to a broad knowledge domain in IT. We're looking for someone who is highly dedicated and takes full responsibility for their work, ensuring that it's completed to the best of their ability and beyond.
You may have experience with React, React Native, Typescript, Node.js, Python, .NET/Core, or Blockchain technologies. If you don't have experience in all of these, no problem! We welcome commercial experience with any of these technologies and value a desire to work with them.
As a Senior React Native Engineer, you'll be involved in both consuming and designing RESTful APIs and will need to have a good balance between moving quickly and building long-term solutions. You're curious, innovative, and enjoy tackling problems, and you are fluent in English and preferably a Scandinavian language.
We are here to support you
We are dedicated to support your growth and development by financing a training budget for all employees, assigning each employee a buddy for their first months on the job, and organizing group training sessions for technical and non-technical skills. We take pride in our strong community at SDC and want to make sure you feel connected.
You can also get to know all your co-workers better by meeting everyone at our monthly All Hands sessions accompanied by breakfast. We encourage work-related initiatives such as presenting at conferences, writing blog posts, or organizing your own workshops within the company.
Perks and Benefits
We want you to enjoy a hybrid working model that allows you to work remotely from time to time, determined on a person-by-person basis, as we try to be flexible when it comes to everyone's individual needs. We provide a competitive salary, additional 11.25 % employer-paid pension, 30 days of paid vacation leave, plus five additional days of care-taker days. We provide flexible working hours and private health- and dental care for you and your family. At SDC we also have a lot of exciting clubs such as wine club, running club, theater club and many more. A bit about SDC
It all started back in 1963, when a series of small savings banks went hand in hand with a dream of economies of scale and electronic bookkeeping. That dream still drives us. Today, we are 100+ both small and large banks from all over the Nordic region, who are part of the community, because shared solutions make us stronger.
We are over 700 colleagues in Ballerup and Warsaw, who work together every day to deliver a good banking experience to the users of 100+ Scandinavian banks. Many of our solutions are developed jointly for all customers - some for a small group. Common to them is that we want to maximize the customers’ benefit from the solutions and minimize the risk of not meeting the customers' needs.
The future demands more of SDC. The banks are working to adapt to the needs of the market, at the same time they are being met with increasing demands for regulation and efficiency. SDC works hard to be at the forefront of the customers’ needs and continue to be the preferred provider of solutions to Scandinavian banks.
