PLC Pro­gram­mer - internal pro­duction

Can you make a difference in our high-tech company that drives production towards full automation? To strengthen the automation department, we are looking for an additional PLC Programmer - preferably in combination with a good understanding of PLC hardware and software development. About the job

The automation team of six people – which already consists of a PLC Programmer - is mainly responsible for digitalization and development of process control components for Topsil’s advanced production equipment which includes PLC’s, measuring system using digital cameras, and modern control application using model-based control and machine learning.

The aim of our software is to run the production as automated as possible with zero errors. The team specifies designs and tests as well as implements new features while helping to maintain the current operating control components used in the production 24/7. Currently, the factory will be extended with more exciting production machines and buildings. Therefore, we need you as our second PLC Programmer in Topsil.

Furthermore, you will be part of a SCRUM team and therefore you will join the morning meetings of SCRUM and production as well. You will meet the users of your developed features daily in the production or the cantina during lunch. Moreover, you will review repair requests daily and try to solve them as soon as possible.        

Your responsibility:

• Design & maintenance of PLC programs in Beckhoff systems using TwinCat 3.1 & in SIEMENS TIA Portal
• Maintenance (backup & backup restore) of PLC programs for several suppliers such as UNITRONICS, FAGOR, OPTO, and Mitsubishi
• Work in our automation team in an agile scrum project environment

About you

In this position, we expect that you have/are:

• A technical or mechanical engineering background
• 0-3 years experiences
• Knowledge of PLC hardware
• Analytical skills & takes personal responsibility
• Fluent in English

In addition, it is a plus if you have/are:

• Knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCat & SIEMENS TIA Portal or are open to learn it
• Fluent in Danish
