At rentdesk, we live and breathe PropTech. Through the development of digital tools, we want to help ease and automize the work processes related to the real estate industry. Doing so, we eliminate many manual tasks that have been inherited through time.

And our approach, you may ask? That is to create a simple and intuitive platform which both a first-time landlord and an experienced one can navigate safely. Saving time, money and making life easier for our customers.

You ensure the alignment between design and code

Based at our modern office facilities in the heart of Copenhagen with a lovely view of the city, you’ll be working alongside a development team of 8 consisting of backend, iOS and frontend developers and digital designers.

Our backend technology stack is API based on Laravel principles and we use Docker to share the same environment with all our developers.

Working on multiple tasks and projects – big and small – at the same time, you will:

• Make current JavaScript and TypeScript codebases better: more readable, resilient and functional
• Contribute to the implementation of new features while adhering to engineering principles: testability, maintainability, integrity, standards, specifications, and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and optimize your code from the feedback you receive

We are also working towards implementing an agile software development environment as well as DevOps practices.

“In this role, you will truly have time to create some solid frontend design with a focus on UX. On top of that, our pipeline for the next 18 months is booked with new products releases,” Peter explains.

Frontend developer with a knack for intuitive UX

Your formal education doesn’t matter to us, as long as you:

• Have extensive experience from a similar role working with Patterns MVC MVP MVVC, Vue 2/Vue 3, Pinia/Vuex, vue-router and Typescript
• Speak and write English fluently – Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
