As an SAP Subject Matter Expert, part of Cognizant SAP Delivery Team you will be responsible for driving SAP conversations, consulting, design, implementation, and support of customer SAP landscape / requirements.

About You

You are a highly skilled SAP Logistics Consultant with MRP Area experience. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end SAP logistics implementation and support services for our client. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in SAP logistics to provide insightful recommendations to clients, streamline business processes, and achieve measurable business results.

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and design solutions in SAP Logistics modules, with specific focus on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and MRP areas
• Implement and configure SAP Logistics modules to meet client needs, including but not limited to, materials management (MM), sales and distribution (SD), and warehouse management (WM) modules
• Analyze and optimize logistics processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP Logistics modules are functioning correctly and meeting business requirements
• Support end-users with training and issue resolution
• Provide ongoing support for SAP Logistics modules, including troubleshooting and maintenance
• Participate in project planning and provide regular status updates to project teams and stakeholders
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP Logistics modules, with specific focus on MRP and MRP areas
• Knowledge of integration between SAP Logistics modules and other SAP modules such as Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Must Haves:

• SAP functional consultant for simplification items: MRP Area set-up
• The MRP runs on Storage Location Level is no longer available in S/4HANA, which today is used in direct spend, subcontracting and spare part procurement. The proposed alternative solution proposed by SAP is to convert storage location planning into MRP Areas.
• Overview of the areas, processes and items that are in scope of the change
• Desired future solution defined and agreed with PGR, IT and LoB
• Overview of the effort and timeline in changing the current setup to new    

Nice to Have / Your chance to grow

• A stronghold in one of the following areas: SAP Logistics, MRP Area set-up
• Prior domain experience from Life Sciences, Logistics and/or Manufacturing
• SAP certifications
• University degree
