Do you want to play a key role in the day-to-day IT operations at Gehl, and help design the future IT strategy for the company’s continued growth?

We are looking for a competent, diverse and social IT Manager/coordinator, who is prepared to take on a wide range of tasks that can vary from day to day.

This is a permanent position in Copenhagen with a 37-hour work week.

As our new IT Manager, we expect you to be service-minded and take pride in helping your colleagues. You possess a fine balance between being structured and simultaneously managing multiple ‘on-demand’ tasks at the same time across our three offices.

Organisationally, you will be part of Gehl's support team, which includes colleagues in our three offices in Copenhagen, New York and San Francisco.

In addition, you will be the close link to our external IT service provider.

Qualifications and skills

We expect you to have an IT background such as a supporter, but in addition we would like you to have experience from design, consulting or similar industry, including an understanding of specific IT solutions, applications and challenges involved.

You will be a key person in the development of our ongoing IT strategy for the office and you will be actively involved in improving procedures and proactively secure future solutions. In addition, it is a qualification for the job that you master English fluently as we are a diverse group with many nationalities. Danish language skills not a requirement, but an advantage.

As our new IT Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Providing on-site support for design and support staff, setting up new computers, updating software via MDM
  • Backup and disaster recovery planning
  • Procurement and management of software and hardware
  • Governance requirements
  • Manage server, PCs, networks – we use Google Workspace
  • Responsible for company IT security
  • Co-responsible for compliance GDPR
  • Ongoing documentation
  • Management reporting
  • Policy development
  • Collaboration with IT counterparts among kyu companies.

It is an advantage for the job that you have knowledge of the use of the following software:

- Google Workspace, Slack, Adobe programs (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), Miro.

And maybe even knowledge of working with tools such as:

- Rhino 7, AutoCAD, Spacemaker and Geographic information systems (GIS) tools to visualize spatial analysis.
