Group IT Ope­ra­tions Manager

You will join our Group IT team, currently a team of 2 employees located at the headquarter in Esbjerg and 1 employee located in our subsidiary in Hungary. You should expect to have daily, weekly, and monthly contact and communication with colleagues in the IT support in Hungary and with all key stakeholders in the organization. Your reference will be to the CFO.

Even in a sometimes hectic environment, you can smoothly balance your attention to the overview as well as the detail. As you have a broad range of stakeholders inside and outside of the organization and at all levels, you have excellent collaboration and communication skills. 

Experience and qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products and key interest in digitalization, process automation etc.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Communicate fluently in English both written and spoken.
  • Relevant education and minimum 3 to 5 years of experience from a similar role with system management experience, servers, network etc.
  • Knowledge of AX are preferable, but not essential.

Roles and responsibility

  • Responsible for Group IT infrastructure and strategy
  • Responsible for the delivery of IT systems and IT support services and ensuring that they meet business requirements
  • Responsible for efficient first-level onsite-support
  • Supervising the day-to-day usage, operation, and maintenance of both new and former computer systems, providing user training and support as needed
  • Verification of computer systems and application services, IT security procedures, preparing requirement specifications for computer systems and managing the configuration in IT
  • Manage major incidents and disaster recovery in IT as well as System Transition.
  • Active participation in the budget process at group level
  • Microsoft systems, SQL and Oracle server administration and maintenance
  • Server virtualization implementation, operation, maintenance, and backup
  • Cisco network administration
  • IT security best practices (hardware, software, network, data, database, security, and communication lines)
  • Network configuration, management, and administration.
  • Expected travel days will be 10-20 days per year
