What is KMD Connect?

KMD Connect is a division of KMD providing consulting, delivery, and operation of professional and business-critical EDI solutions within both the private and public markets.  We help our customers with data integration, ensure communication and digitize resource-intensive manual processes.  Our ambition is to grow both nationally and internationally together with our Japanese owners NEC. 

The job

We are looking for the right Sales Executive with a solid knowledge of working with and selling EDI solutions. As Sales Executive, you are given customer the responsibility for developing new customers in Denmark and internationally. You build strong relationships with your customers and support their strategic ambitions for digital transformation. The success criteria for you are that customers succeed with their digital ambitions, that you support the customer's challenges with relevant EDI solutions and build mutually value-adding relationships.

You create relationships with and match the relevant management levels of your customers. You establish a strategic dialogue, position KMD as a professional partner, and create a good and healthy business for both customers and KMD while focusing on customer satisfaction.

You are driven by creating success for your customers. Your previous career has provided you with experience in sales and business development, and you can document your results. You understand the EDI/Supply Chain business thoroughly. As a person, you are structured and can create solutions based on the customer's business challenges. You thrive on working independently but can also and at the same time can work as part of a team.

Your responsibility

  • Developing existing and new customers by establishing long-term business relationships.
  • Win new customer business.  
  • Identifying opportunities for up- and cross-selling to existing customers.
  • Work with partners to develop KMD’s market reach both nationally and internationally. 
  • Listening to your customers and communicating their feedback to ensure our products & services meet their needs.
  • Planning and execution of customer experience activities such as surveys, interviews, and webinars.
  • Execution of sales campaigns in close cooperation with product management and marketing.
  • Attending events and exhibitions to meet with KMD customers and partners.
  • Negotiate/close deals.
  • Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Help us with expanding our KMD Connect business internationally.

Who are you?

  • Solid experience and knowledge about EDI/Supply Chain and the value it can generate for your customer.
  • Experience in B2B/B2G SaaS sales.
  • Experience with actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Experience with developing and winning new customer business.

Furthermore it would be a strong asset if you possess:

  • Strong communication and presentations skills.
  • Strong commercial focus.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in English as a minimum.
