A team with a great variety of cultures and skills

In Global IT, you will be part of our SAP Solution Delivery department consisting of 36 SAP colleagues spread across 14 different locations worldwide – with you based at our HQ in Hedehusene. Together, we are responsible for all SAP ERP projects and template enhancements used in DSV globally.

We are technically responsible for ensuring IT solutions that are transparent and scalable, and last year, we made a successful transition to SAP S/4HANA. So right now, our focus is on implementing new functionalities within the system.

Full project lifecycle: from kick-off to end of hypercare

As our new SAP specialist, you will be a part of different projects of varying scales, durations, and objectives. This means that you will collaborate with diverse departments and stakeholders across the organisation.

At DSV, we prioritise streamlining our processes as well as utilising standardisation rather than customising SAP solutions. As part of the project team, you will play a crucial role in optimising business requirements and translating them into technical solutions that align with SAP’s standard functionalities.

In your first project, you will work closely with the business and define requirements for the Group Reporting Module.

Furthermore, you will, among other tasks:

• Configure and maintain the Group Reporting module in alignment with the defined requirements
• Perform data migration from source systems to the Group Reporting module
• Develop and execute testing plans
• Provide end-user training and support

S/4HANA-savvy and eager to learn

It is essential that you have a strong interest in the field and the ability to work independently. You may come from a financial or information technology background, with a solid understanding of consolidation processes and a sense of urgency.

Ideally, you have prior module experience with SAP FICO and Group Reporting, as well as familiarity with Fiori. However, we welcome applicants from other relevant backgrounds, as there are many possible paths to this position.  

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

• Experience with business support and the ability to communicate technical information in a simplified format
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and strong technical skills in system configuration
• Great communication skills in both written and spoken English
