Senior Software Test Engineer – be the driver of quality for our team in Copenhagen

New year, new job? Look no further! We have a great opportunity for you if you are not afraid to take the driver's seat in quality assurance, run new initiatives and ensure that testing is essential to every step in the development process.

Software systems for highly critical situations

Joining Systematic Defence means being part of our ambition to help military personnel worldwide make the right decisions and save lives with exceptional products. Our Test Engineers are a crucial part of the product quality we deliver to the customers. You will become a part of a team where all members seek early engagement and impact on the solution.

Be a vital part of the test process

As our new Test Engineer colleague, you will create test designs, test cases and focus on risk assessment. You will evaluate how features must be tested and advise your colleagues on creating automated tests where needed. You are part of developing the next generation of our SitaWare Headquarters product.

Working in an agile scrum-team, you will make a difference by:

  • Ensuring an early test involvement in development, asking all the crucial questions and collaborating closely with all stakeholders.
  • Participating in all test activities such as integration tests, system tests, field tests, bug hunts, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining test documentation like test considerations, test cases, risk analysis and defect reporting.
  • Taking part in developing and maintaining test environments.

There will be some travel activity to Systematic's headquarters in Aarhus and occasional travel to our international offices.

A self-driven Senior Software Test Engineer

We seek a colleague who brings a technical degree in computer science, software engineering, computer technology, or something similar—someone who has worked as a Test Engineer or in a similar role for some years. We are looking for a colleague who can take responsibility for their work and is proactive and self-driven in their approach. It will benefit you if you have worked with tools like JIRA, Xray for JIRA or R4J, and technologies like Linux, CLI, Docker and Kubernetes.

It is essential that you speak English fluently and will thrive in an international working environment.

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.

Never stop developing

Systematic is truly international, proudly Danish and uniquely people-centric. Together, we write intelligent and innovative code to drive progress and improve lives. We develop IT solutions that make a real difference where it matters most. This is why we never stop developing. Here, there is room to be professional and personal. It is not just a place to work but a place to belong.

You can look forward to joining our Employees Club, which offers almost 100 events of both social and professional character a year – plenty to choose from. In addition, we provide several employee benefits such as paid Home Internet, health insurance and a company pension scheme. Finally, we are always up for a friendly game of padel at our padel court in Aarhus!
