IT Service Supporter

A self-driven IT Service Supporter to strengthen our IT department

As our new IT Service Supporter, you will be dealing with a lot of different IT tasks covering both IT operational tasks as well as IT development tasks. You will be part of a small team headed by the Finance & Administration Director consisting of yourself and a front-end IT supporter responsible primarily for the IT front desk. We are an organization of 140 staff, so you will get a chance of getting your expertise challenged and used in many different aspects of an IT operation – most certainly deepening your IT knowledge and expertise. The support is carried out in close cooperation and coordination with an external IT supplier that handles all backend support. Main tasks include:

  • Support stable staff access to MS systems
  • Support digital development projects led by other teams, hereunder quality assure their IT projects
  • Keep oversight of MS system licenses
  • Responsible for contact to external suppliers, especially our backend supplier, IT relation (ITm8)
  • Maintain IT policies and guidelines in cooperation with the IT front desk staff and the Finance & Administration Director
  • Participate in budgeting processes and monthly follow up on actuals vs budget
  • Develop and maintain IT security awareness in the organization
  • Support stable operation of Microsoft team and SharePoint platforms
  • Support IT front desk in operations, when needed

To be the perfect fit for this role, it is important that you are service minded, have good communication skills and is proficient in both speaking and writing English which is the main language used in Action Aid Denmark. It is a not a requirement that you speak Danish.

We also expect that:

  • You have a relevant IT educational background
  • You have working experience with IT operations on the supplier or customer side (perhaps through a student assistant position during your studies)
  • Experience with IT administration of Office 365, Teams and Sharepoint
  • Experience with IT security, Active Directory, Intune/Endpoint and Azure, if possible
  • Ability to work independently
