Technical QA Spe­ci­a­list to Danløn


We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Technical QA Specialist to join our Danløn development scrum-team. Danløn is one of the leading providers of payroll systems in Denmark. We are looking for an experienced Danish-speaking technical QA specialist to join the scrum team on-site (hybrid). You will be working in our office in Allerød. Danløn is part of Paychex Europe.

Role and Responsibilities with Impact

As a technical QA Specialist, you will oversee that the QA methods across the development process deliver the right quality, take lead on improvements and code automated tests for a Java based solution. You will report to the head of Quality Assurance and on daily basis be part of the Danløn scrum team, working closely together with Developers, Product Specialists and Architects.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Plan technical tests together with Product Specialists, Architect, and the rest of the team
  • Carry out the agreed tests, including building, maintaining, and monitoring automated tests
  • Lead identification and implementation of improvements to QA tools and practices
  • Participate in sharing and improving our overall QA practices across all products

Your profile

We are looking for you who recognize yourself in the following:

  • A self-driven, curious, and structured team player who work independently
  • Interested in, and capable of, building up domain knowledge of the product and its code
  • Experience in writing coded automated tests
  • Experience with JAVA or similar languages
  • Experience with QA methods and processes in an agile organization, preferably scrum based
  • Educational background within IT, engineering or another relevant field
  • Danish language skills both written and oral

Furthermore, it would be helpful if you have skills within:

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, PlayWright, Jmeter, PostMan, SonarCloud, Jenkins, GitLab, Jira
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with QA strategies, test plans or similar
  • Experience with Payroll or other complex data intensive administrative applications
  • ISTQB or similar certification
  • English communication skills
