IT Portfolio and Delivery Management Manager for SAP Area
Are you passionate about building and developing strategic frameworks for SAP project roadmaps and aligning them with key stakeholders across a global organisation? We are looking for an experienced IT Portfolio and Delivery Management Manager to join our Data, Governance, and Analytics team within Group Applications, Global IT. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing SAP projects within our Finance organisation, ensuring efficient delivery and alignment with business needs.
Your responsibilities
As the IT Portfolio and Delivery Management Manager, you will:
- Own and manage the portfolio of Finance & Group Systems projects, ensuring readiness for high-priority initiatives and the integration of new projects.
- Develop frameworks for resource and pipeline management, optimising the use of existing IT tools and processes.
- Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders, project managers, and team members to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Serve as a point of contact for the Group PMO, ensuring effective and timely project delivery.
- Provide direction and framework for your team to perform at their best, supporting their individual project work and fostering a motivated team environment.

To succeed in this position, you will need to perfect the art of managing teams at a distance. To do this, you will need to reach out to team members on an ongoing basis to provide clear guidelines and make sure they thrive. You will also get to use your diplomacy and stakeholder management skills as you collaborate with colleagues across the world.
Expected travel activity: 2-4 times a year visiting teams as well as other departments.
What you bring
To succeed in this role, we imagine you:
- Have extensive experience in portfolio management, ideally within an IT or global environment.
- Possess a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 4 years of project management experience and a strong process orientation.
- Demonstrate solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving visible business results.
- Are fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Are skilled in navigating complex IT landscapes and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
