Our Regulatory Reporting Department is part of the Core Platforms & Applications Area, dedicated to developing and maintaining SDC's core platforms and applications. These platforms ensure stable operations for all our customers' business processes.

In Regulatory Reporting, we provide solutions used by SDC’s clients to perform regulatory accounting and reporting to authorities in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Sweden, and Norway. The department, consisting of three teams, handles the maintenance and development of solutions for regulatory reporting and BI needs. We provide services and products across the following areas: AML (Team 1), Risk, Credit & ESG (Team 2), Tax, Axapta, Accounting & Statistics (Team 3).

How will you bring value?

As part of the Risk, Credit & ESG team, you will be in the Risk sub-team, where your primary focus will be on Market risk.

You will immerse yourself in regulatory reporting and project work, focusing on various facets of market risk, including instruments, credit valuation adjustment, and interest rate risk in the banking book.

You'll delve into:

  • the fundamental review of the trading book,
  • counterpart credit risk,
  • prudent valuation,

ensuring a comprehensive understanding of these critical areas.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with member banks, Finanstilsynet, LOPI and other stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication across the team and the SDC.

Although you won't be reporting to authorities, your work will be crucial in linking legal texts, development, and payment institutions, delivering valuable insights and reports to our external banks.

What sets you up for success in this role?

  • You are customer-focused, capable of diving into new requirements and incidents, and acting as the vital link between our customers and the SDC risk area.
  • You have a flair for IT and a deep understanding of market risk instruments.
  • You have experience and knowledge of credit valuation adjustment, interest rate risk in the banking book, fundamental review of the trading book, counterpart credit risk, and prudent valuation.
  • Your educational background includes finance, accounting or similar.
  • You are either already proficient in SAS and SQL or have a strong interest in learning them.
  • To excel, you create and develop concepts, rethink and innovate, analyze and interpret data, apply your expertise and technology effectively, and handle pressure and adversity well.
  • Fluency in English and Danish (or another Scandinavian language) is required.
