We're looking for a new colleague as Domain Architect In­fra­struc­ture


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Domain Architect Infrastructure to join our Architecture team. The ideal candidate will navigate the infrastructure landscape, accurately report on the current state (AS-IS), and plan for future improvements (TO-BE).

This role is pivotal in ensuring operational stability and driving strategic architecture initiatives in close collaboration with the Digital Infrastructure area. Additionally, this role includes supporting DevOps practices to enhance collaboration and efficiency across all IT.

The position

As a Domain Architect you will ensure operational stability roadmap and drive strategic architecture initiatives within the Digital Infrastructure area. You work closely with other architects to ensure full alignment of projects and collaborate with partners and the Solar business to implement new or utilize current technologies.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Assess and document the current infrastructure state (AS-IS) and develop comprehensive plans for future improvements (TO-BE)
  • Contribute to the development of a future-state roadmap for the infrastructure area, aimed at reducing technical debt and integrating new technologies
  • Assist domain architects in creating necessary governance documents on critical infrastructure areas to ensure correct operation of infrastructure and platforms
  • Serve as the bridge between architects, development teams and infrastructure specialists
  • Support DevOps practices by integrating development and operations workflows, automating processes, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. They should have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or related roles, with a strong emphasis on enterprise architecture frameworks. Proficiency in network, server, and cloud technologies on an enterprise level is required.

The right candidate also has:

  • Familiarity with ADM and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, and the capability to guide and mentor team members are also important
