Data/Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an Data/Analytics Engineer who is eager to improve the data foundation in close collaboration with skilled colleagues across the organisation.

What the new Data Engineer will be doing:

  • Become part of the Advanced Analytics team who work closely with sister departments in Product and Tech.
  • Enable the data scientists and the rest of the organisation to have access to the right data at the right time.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines for seamless data flow from source to destination.
  • Validate data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Actively participate in architectural discussions with cross-over to analytics/data and collaborate across teams to share learnings and align on direction.
  • Implement measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and bridge the gap between business problem and technical solution.

What we're looking for:

  • Relevant academic background within Business Intelligence, software engineering, data science, economics or similar.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in analytics and/or data engineering
  • Experience with Python & SQL
  • Preferably experience with AWS & Airflow
  • Preferably experience with NodeJS and typescript.
  • Knowledge of data lake architecture and data warehousing principles.
  • Self-driven and strong team player with a passion to learn new things
