Data Science Student Helper for Autorola Indicata

The Role

As our student worker, you will assist in driving the evolution of the data-driven initiatives for our Indicata product. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of our data science team, working closely with experienced Data Scientists and Analysts, and gaining hands-on experience in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Update monthly reporting in Power BI: Work with the data team to ensure reports are accurate and up-to-date, using Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends.
• Support Power BI inquiries: Assist customers and internal teams with questions, helping them understand and utilize the data effectively.
• Assist in managing the INDICATA platform: Help maintain and optimize the INDICATA platform, ensuring it integrates smoothly with Power BI.
• Create and present data insights: Develop presentations on data and statistics, and present them to stakeholders.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses: Use SQL, Python, and/or R for immediate data needs, and explore better Power BI techniques under guidance.
• Perform various data science tasks: Contribute to different projects and assist in managing the INDICATA platform.

About You:

• Education: You are enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, or similar) and are eager to apply your academic knowledge to real-world data science challenges.
• Years Remaining in Studies: Ideally, you have at least 1-2 years left in your studies, allowing for a longer-term commitment and the opportunity to grow within the role.
• Technical Experience: You have experience with Power BI and programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
• Understanding of Data Analysis and Modeling: You possess a general understanding of data analysis and modeling, which will help you interpret data and create meaningful insights.
• Service-Minded and Methodical Approach: You are service-minded, thorough, and methodical in your approach to tasks, ensuring high-quality work and effective problem-solving.
• Proficiency in English: You are proficient in English at a professional level, both spoken and written.
