Managed Services Manager


This position is based at our office in Roskilde, Denmark and you will be joining our Vendor Management function within Operations & Infrastructure. The Vendor Management function is in charge of the day to day management of our strategically most important vendors, supporting BEC’s tech transformation journey.

As team lead you will have the possibility to manage a newly establish vendor management team focused on one of our selected strategic partners. You will manage a team of contract managers, vendor finance specialists and data analysts, and ensure that we, through our vendors, deliver stabile and secure operations, to satisfy our customers needs.

Your direct manager will be Stine Mikkelsen, Area Director, Vendor Management.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management of partnership with one of our selected strategic partners.
  • Management of team of contract managers, vendor finance specialists and data analysts, located in Denmark and Polen. Help set up the team, by recruiting the right resources.
  • Set direction and concrete objectives for the team to follow, reflecting our BEC core priorities.
  • Interact with multiple stakeholders across BEC and the vendor, ensuring smooth day to day operations.
  • Set up and drive processes defining the work to be delivered by vendor management and ensure that we follow such processes.
  • Participate in initiatives to further develop the relationship with our selected partners.
  • Work closely with team lead (s) covering other strategic partners, to ensure knowledge sharing and optimization initiatives, supporting the transformation journey that BEC is on.
  • Manage day to day governance with selected partner.
  • Manage external consultants and consultancy agreements
  • Support internal risk and compliance initiatives, including audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with BEC policies and procedures.

To succeed you will have:

  • A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
  • Positive, open minded, diplomatic, structured, detail oriented and problem-solving mindset, is an advantage.
  • Experience within IT outsourcing, IT contracts and finances, and management of teams, is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
