ERP IT System Owner
Are you passionate about using your IT skills to create real impact? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of business, systems, and technology – and do you want to take ownership of a critical ERP system landscape in transition? Then come and be part of something meaningful.
Job overview
As our new ERP IT System Owner, you will step into a pivotal position within our IT department. You’ll be responsible for the technical management of our existing Maconomy centered ERP system landscape, while playing a central role in the implementation of a new, integrated ERP solution.
The role is both operational and strategic: You’ll be combining hands-on technical expertise with system ownership responsibilities, and you'll handle ongoing system maintenance, support and vendor coordination, but also help define future system architecture and support the implementation of improved digital workflows across the organisation.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to make an impact in a professional and values-based environment.
Who we are
DanChurchAid (DCA) supports people in the world’s poorest regions in their fight for a dignified life and provides life-saving aid in crisis zones. We deliver long-term development support, promote equality and sustainability, and continue a 100-year tradition of hope and action. Join us and make a real impact—your work will help shape both your role and the future of our systems.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Own the ERP system landscape from an IT perspective - starting with our current Maconomy-based setup and transitioning to a new, ERP solution
- Play a key role in the implementation of the future ERP solution
- Collaborate closely with major stakeholders and product owners to ensure the system setup supports business requirements.
- Work with the ERP system administrator to ensure smooth configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate development and maintenance efforts with internal teams and external vendors
- Act as integration specialist, managing and enhancing connections between ERP and surrounding systems
- Map the ERP system landscape and contribute to designing a more connected future
- Co-develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and agreed system standards
Your profile
We assume that you have:
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in ERP system management, support and administration - Experience with Maconomy is a plus, but not required
- A solid understanding of system integrations, data flows and operational ERP architecture
- Strong communication skills – acting as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders in Finance and other units
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, business systems, or related field
- The ability to communicate fluently in Danish and confidently in English
- Experience with system development and IT project management would be an advantage in this role
As a person we expect that you resonate with our purpose and:
- You thrive in a role where structure, technical understanding and collaboration are equally important.
- You have a solid grasp of ERP systems and know how to keep them running – but you’re also motivated by being part of something bigger: building new solutions, improving processes, and contributing to a greater purpose.
- You have a natural authority and take responsibility for progress and quality, while being a team player who contributes to a good working environment.
What we offer
- A meaningful job in a mission-driven organisation that works for global good
- A role where you can influence your tasks, responsibilities and direction
- The opportunity to set new standards for how an ERP solution can support the organisation and its important humanitarian work
- A dynamic workplace in professional transformation – where IT plays a central role
- Skilled, dedicated colleagues in IT, Finance and other units who value collaboration
