QA Test Analyst

About the job

As a QA Test Analyst at Azets, you will play a crucial role in the software development of a web-based payroll system, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

This role is an excellent opportunity to improve and mature our testing practices. You will explore new technologies, tools, and bring innovation to our quality assurance. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, designers, and various third parties throughout the development lifecycle.

Primary responsibilities include creating and executing functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance test cases, ensuring business requirements are met and the product is delivered per established quality standards.

Skills required:

• Knowledge of the SDLC.
• Ability to build and maintain Test repositories for complex systems.
• Ability to review and analyze requirements to identify relevant test cases.
• Ability to create, plan, and execute different types of Test Cases, such as Functional, Regression, Performance, and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
• Ability to collaborate with the product team and various SMEs to achieve Business sign-off.
• Ability to generate insightful documentation and reports on software defects and track their resolution.
• Experience with Agile testing methodologies.
• Experience working with third-party providers to ensure internal needs are met.
• Experience using various tools to manage test cases.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB certified, link
• Automation testing experience.
• Experience with SQL and querying databases.
• Experience testing payroll or financial systems.
