Software En­gi­ne­e­ring Team Lead

Our current Software Engineering Team Lead is moving on to a newly established position, and we’re looking for her replacement. With a vision to be the go-to partner for organizations in Insurance and Finance that depend on mission-critical Enterprise Content Management, we have the perfect job for you in Herning.

What you’ll get to do

At Nextway, we are extremely privileged to develop our own software products and deliver them end-to-end to customers all over the world – directly or through partners.

We develop in Java and .Net. We use JavaScript for our front end. And Flutter for mobile apps. We deliver enterprise grade software products that are SOC2 certified and accepted into app stores run by Salesforce, Microsoft, Apple, and Google. We deliver everything in our own Azure based Nextway.cloud and in others clouds too.

Your job is to take a successful team of 8-10 in-house developers and architects to the next level. Some of your primary tasks will be to:

• Lead and develop your team members.
• Continuously optimize and enhance processes and methods.
• Take on overall responsibility for the product delivery.
• Share knowledge across the organization regarding processes and solutions, etc.
• Your leadership responsibilities also cover outsourced development of selected elements in our portfolio.

You will report directly to our CTO and work closely with our Product Managers, QA, and Customer Success teams.

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within IT.
• Have a deep knowledge and experience in enterprise software development and understand the true implications of mission-critical IT.

• Are fluent in English and Danish.
• Have a sharp mind, a structured approach, and a sense of humor.
