IT Compliance Specialist

Are you ready to rock the IT compliance scene? Do you love tweaking and automating processes to make everyone’s life easier? And are you skilled at accommodating auditors’ requests and comments? Then grab this opportunity to become our new IT Compliance Specialist and play a key role in taking our IT compliance to the next level.

Here’s what the job entails

At Danske Commodities, SOX compliance is at the heart of what we do – and SOX is much more than just a set of controls. It is about maintaining policies, procedures and operating principles that uphold our commitment to excellence. You will be a key player in shaping the designs for our SOX compliance software suite as well as improving quality and adding more automation to the mix.

Concretely, you main responsibilities will be:

  • perform quality assurance of review templates and control executions
  • review test findings and facilitate the remediation of control gaps and escalate possible critical issues
  • take the lead on IT architecture, design and implementation of IT controls, at both application and infrastructure levels

Meet the team

You will join Security and Compliance which is a proactive and open-minded team consisting of four people who excel at multi-tasking and managing stakeholders. Our team works closely with almost all our back-office teams and we have a large touch surface. We are always going for the long-term solution and we take a holistic approach to the IT landscape and processes to meet financial and critical infrastructure requirements.

As you'll be steering the course for the future of compliance and security, we're seeking someone motivated to tackle tasks across various areas and develop their own skillset.

"In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in providing security and compliance to protect financial data and critical infrastructure." - Tobias Evar Lauridsen, CISO & Manager, Head of Security & Compliance.

But enough about us… over to you!

As you will be a part of steering the direction for our compliance and security, we are looking for someone who is motivated to tackle tasks across various areas and climb a steep learning curve.

We also imagine that you:

  • have a technical understanding and interest in IT infrastructure and security
  • have experience with compliance or IT controlling/auditing
  • are familiar with ISO 27001, ISO 27002 and/or ISO 27019 (an advantage but not a requirement)
  • are fluent in English – both written and verbally
