As our new Senior Data Scientist, you’ll join a cross-functional digital product-team. Your squad's focus is to help build the right digital solutions for the organisation by discovering and solving the right problems. Our goal is to give our customers the best possible experience.

What you’ll do

You’ll be the driving force behindutilising our customer experimentation platform to ensure that we’re constantly improvingour customers’ buying experience.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll be playing a key role in both technical decisions and mentoring others, contributing to our culture of innovation and excellence.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Develop robust frameworks for executing experiments, including A/B and multi-variant tests, then execute and assess the outcomes of experiments to derive actionable insights.
  • Utilise and scale machine learning techniques to automate and optimise existing processes.
  • Apply predictive modeling techniques to draw meaningful insights from diverse and "non-traditional" data sources.
  • Explore innovative approaches to data analysis, pushing the boundaries of traditional methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential data product candidates.
  • Quantify and communicate the anticipated impact of these data products on customer value and business objectives.

Your profile

You have a master’s degree or higher in either economics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitative discipline coupled with applied experience within a relevant field.

We also hope to see the following on your CV:

  • Technical competence to perform advanced analytics: Coding skills such as R, SQL, or Python (P.S. we use Python extensively),
  • You can write production strength code that is shippable by engineers in your team,
  • You have strong statistical understanding of online testing methodologies and A/B testing,
  • Experience with AWS or other Cloud technologies - Spark, Pandas, or Airflow is preferred,
  • You have great interpersonal skills and want to contribute to building a data science community of practice within our organisation.
