Service designer for Scoutz In­nova­tion & Tech Hub


We are searching for an empathic service designer (UX) to design Banking experiences in Scoutz based in Nordhavn Copenhagen.

As a service designer at Scoutz Innovation and Tech hub, you will be a vital part of creating of seamless user journeys for banking advisors and customers. You will join our team facilitating design processes and have the holistic view of the entire user experience, being the user ambassador and understanding the user pain and gains from problem field to development.

Scoutz opened its doors in January 2024 – we call it a start-up even though being a part of BEC. That means you get the best of both worlds. Your role is highly communicative as you'll participate as a cross functional role in our international agile delivery teams. You will collaborate closely with other digital and service designers, with products owners, business analysists, and developers. You will facilitate design processes, do user research, design on a conceptual level and test solutions with end-users, help prioritize features, write user stories, ensuring that prioritizations and decisions align with user needs, product vision and goals.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate design processes from idea/problem to development ensuring desirability, feasibility, and viability
  • Facilitate workshops and design sprints using design methodology
  • Redesign and rethink exciting solutions for a broader audience
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research in problem, idea, and development phases
  • Analyze and crunch complex information and visually communicate it to management level among other stakeholders through visual storytelling
  • Design end to end user journeys and concept design that meet strategic objectives empathy for the users
  • Create user journeys, service blueprints, wireframes and lo-fi designs and other design methodologies
  • Collaborate with the delivery teams in designing, building and testing solutions in an agile setup

About you:

  • You are Empathic mindset and eager to learn about users and experiences through research
  • You are comfortable in the unknown to find the right solutions IN the problem and discovery phases and eager to represent the user in strategic talks and planning
  • You are a creative mind and can conceptualize ideas into new services
  • You act as user ambassador ensuring user involvement throughout the design process
  • You have about 3-5 years of hands-on experience designing (digital) solutions and services
  • Your toolbox includes skills within Miro, PowerPoint, Adobe, Figma, and/or similar
  • You hold a master’s degree in Service Design, Design management or similar fields
  • You are fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
