D365F&SCM – Fun­ctio­nal IT Business Partner


Do you want to be an important part of a large global ERP project, participate in a multi-year global rollout, and get a key role in the future further development of Palsgaard's ERP support?

At Palsgaard, we are in the process of doubling our production capacity in the coming years. We are at full speed ahead and looking into an ambitious growth strategy that places significant demands on optimizing our global business processes. Part of the strategy is therefore to implement a new ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM.

As an internal D365 Functional IT Business Partner you will be a central person in the project and work across the project. You will work as the IT department's trusted advisor for several business areas within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Product management, Master data Management or Finance.

You will become part of our global IT department, which is geographically located in Juelsminde and consists of 16 colleagues. Here you will experience a flexible workday with the possibility of working from home. We place strong emphasis on a good working environment, where we solve tasks together and develop continuously.
You will report to our global IT Director, Kim Meldgård Andersen.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in the establishment of the global system template for all our sites, together with the business's Business Process Owners.
  • Take responsibility for own project tasks and follow-up on tasks in the project.
  • Successful implementation of tasks with everything from scoping to analysis, implementation, and strategic advice on the use of Dynamics Platform, based on D365 F&SCM. Working closely together with our external implementation partners.
  • Second line support to project teams.
  • Depending on technical interest, owner of one or more integrations to ISV and 3rd party products.
  • Perform a key role in the global rollout of our subsidiaries, all of which will move to the D365F&SCM platform.
  • Participate in ensuring education of local users together with super users from the business.
  • Participate in building the continuous further development through management and handling of Microsoft upgrades, thereby ensuring that we constantly optimize our processes and make use of new features so that we can ensure that D365 applications support our strategies in the best possible way.

Candidate profile

As a Functional IT Business Partner, you must be able to guide our business about consequences and opportunities and act as the link between business and technology.
At the same time, you must be able to challenge our business to make sure we continue to deliver sustainable solutions with a focus on using the right elements of the Dynamics Platform at the right time.

You thrive by being an active part of a team with a good and strong sense of community.
In addition, you have good communication skills, process understanding and interest in process optimization as well as a natural interest and curiosity to stay updated on the development of D365F&SCM.

For this role you preferably have a relevant technical or IT-oriented education at minimum bachelor level. We expect you to have experience with ERP systems (like D365F&SCM) and associated work processes (e.g. in sales, supply chain, production, or finance). Furthermore, you have knowledge of systems/work processes in other business applications such as MES, CRM, document management, quality systems, etc.

Knowledge of DevOps, script development, Power platform, cloud testing, test automation and test service management would be a positive add on.

As a person, you are structured and with strong competencies in analysis, design, and consultancy within D365F&SCM. You can relate critically to things and dare to challenge the status quo while completing your tasks and running things to the finish line.

In addition, the role requires that you are working well in the interaction between the IT department and our internal stakeholders, and that you are able to navigate broadly in the organization and with external partners globally.
