Data Engineer

Your main tasks will be:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the data architecture strategy.
  • Design solutions across the entire data lifecycle, from collection to disposal.
  • Set database and cloud architecture standards in collaboration with IT Operations and external partners.
  • Choose tools and methods for data infrastructure, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to fulfill their data needs.
  • Support the Data Warehouse and BI functions using Azure Analysis Services and PowerBI.
  • Participate in AI/ML cross-disciplinary projects.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and trends in the field through natural curiosity.

Workplace: Headquarter and workplace is in Assentoft, Randers. This position is part of the Finance and IT team and reports directly to CFO, Brian Lang. The role involves close cooperation with the Head of IT Operations and with colleagues in IT Development, which currently consists of four employees.

Your qualifications:

We expect you to have an educational background such as a Master's in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Most important are your specific experiences with the described tasks.

We imagine that you could come from a position as a Data Engineer, Business Intelligence developer, Data Scientist, data architect, or similar.

You bring experience in database design, and you are skilled at building simple and robust data pipelines and can identify and implement best practices. It is essential that you are comfortable working with tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data or Data Lake.

If you have experience with Azure ML and MLOps, it would be advantageous, but most important is your interest in working broadly and desire to contribute your expertise in business-critical projects.

It is also an advantage if you have previously been employed in an international company and through this has developed a broad "Scandinavian" cultural understanding. Our group language is English.
