Matas Group is looking for an IT Oper­a­tions Spe­cial­ist – Microsoft Platform

Notes on the Team

You will join a dedicated IT Operations team with colleagues in both Denmark and Sweden. The team is responsible for the daily operation and security of our IT infrastructure, including our Microsoft platforms, supporting a business with over 500 stores across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Being the front person in regard to our Microsoft setup for servers toward the business, other IT teams, and in the IT Operations team, is an integral part of the role.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Daily operations, ensuring the business is up and running
• Project participation, both being able to give the business, and other IT teams, advice about the optimal setup, and to implement solutions based on approved setup.
• Tiering and Access Management: Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC), administrator levels, and segmentation in accordance with CIS 18 standards.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of Microsoft services and products (Windows Server, M365, Intune, Defender, Trend Micro, etc.).
• Security: Manage patching, antivirus, monitoring, and compliance reporting.
• License Management: Monitor and optimize license usage, including Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Administration: Daily operation of the Microsoft environment, including Active Directory.
• Automation & Development: Develop scripts in PowerShell and integrate with ITSM tools such as Topdesk.
• Documentation & Governance: Contribute to team documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Your Profile

You are skilled in Microsoft platforms and security standards, and you are motivated by ensuring stable, secure, and compliant IT operations in a complex retail environment.

It is an advantage if you:

• Are familiar with tiering models, RBAC, and administrator management
• Have experience with CIS 18 and ISO 27001
• Have experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Know ITSM processes and tools such as Topdesk
• Thrive in a cross-functional team and have strong collaboration skills
