Software Developer – R&D
Automating software updates of Large Engines
As an R&D Software Developer with Everllence, you will be in the driver’s seat of digitalizing the world’s leading brand of ship engines, thereby enabling us to reduce greenhouse emissions.

You will play an important role in:
- Creating Windows Image for our platforms and deploying application on our engines running on Windows.
- Working with PowerShell to automate configuration and deployment of security update.
- Part of designing and developing of own remote update solution to update multiple devices on the vessels.
- Setting up our physical test environment “simulating the engine room on the vessel” and help us test and verify our software packages.
- Collaborating closely with embedded, cloud, and cybersecurity engineers to ensure robustness and security.
We imagine that you:
- Have a Bachelor/Master in Computer Science/Engineering
- Have done software development in PowerShell, C++, C#, python, make
- Have solid experience with Automating configuration and deployment of Windows images
- Have experience with building pipelines (e.g. GitHub or Jenkins)
- Can create Windows installer (msi) build
- Love automating processes and by this eliminate the room for errors.
- Are able to work independently

You will be part of the Edge Platform team in the Automation department in Copenhagen. The department has end-to-end responsibility for the development, classification and production of our proprietary platforms and application frameworks for controlling our engines.
We are a mixed group of mainly software engineers covering embedded software, PC software (Windows & Linux), user interface, cyber security, data management etc.
Your new team will consist of 12 engaged software developers located in Copenhagen who, together with a handful of consultants, have the responsibility to create a scalable orchestration platform that enables “Over-the-Air” updates across a fleet of vessels.
