IT Spe­cial­ist with Expertise in Microsoft Tech­no­lo­gies and Pro­gram­ming


We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Specialist with experience in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Servers, and general IT infrastructure — combined with programming skills to automate processes and develop internal tools. You will join our team and be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of both hardware and software, ensuring stable operation of networks and servers, while also contributing to efficiency through scripting and automation. The work will be split between our location in Hørsholm and in København.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administration and maintenance of Microsoft environments (Azure, Intune, Autopilot, and the Microsoft 365 platform).
  • Knowledge and expertise in Hyper-V environments.
  • Setup and management of Microsoft Servers (e.g., Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP).
  • Installation and configuration of computers and peripheral equipment.
  • Network setup and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) and experience with Fortinet.
  • User support and IT issue resolution.
  • Documentation of systems and procedures.
  • IT system manager of all DFM sites (Hørsholm HQ and København (Niels Bohr Instituttet)).

Expected Competencies:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Servers and Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience with installing and maintaining IT equipment.
  • Understanding of network protocols and security.
  • Strong communication skills and a service-minded approach.
  • Able to work independently and take responsibility for achieving results

Additional Competencies That Are an Advantage:

  • Integration of systems and data flows between Microsoft services and internal tools.
  • Participation in projects involving software deployment, API integration, and process optimization.
  • We envision that you hold an education as a Data Technician with a specialization in infrastructure or a comparable qualification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
  • Ability to work with APIs and automate workflows in Microsoft environments.
  • Development of scripts and small applications to automate IT tasks, with experience in e.g. PowerShell, Python, C# or similar.
