BEC’s Business Banking Initiative is a strategic program selected as one of the three Open-for-Business investment themes. Its core mission is to close functional gaps relative to key competitors – especially in the upper segment of the business banking market.
What’s the role about?
We are looking for an experienced QA Coordinator to join a newly established program with an ambitious growth strategy and a full backlog of exciting, customer-facing functionality. The initial focus will be on building a modern liquidity management solution.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with several key domains across BEC – particularly Core Banking, Payments, and Omnichannel – as well as with Nykredit, acting as the collaboration bank, and a third-party vendor. Your work will be central to ensuring quality across the program, both in terms of product delivery and process maturity.
As QA Coordinator, you will be responsible for setting future QA standards and driving continuous improvement across the program. You will be hands-on in setting up, coordinating and reporting on cross-team testing activities, while also ensuring that QA processes and procedures are well-designed and successfully implemented across teams.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the QA foundation of a high-impact program from the ground up. You will be part of a forward-thinking team working with business-critical solutions that directly serve our customers.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Hands-on involvement in key project to build a new and modern liquidity management solution to ensure the right level of QA measures
- Interacting with various stakeholders, such as QA coordinators, business analysts, developers, subject matter experts, both inside the program, across BEC and with our customers and external vendors
- Implementation of BEC common Quality Assurance processes, procedures and guidance on a program level
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes
- Be an QA “activist” that ensure the QA processes and objectives are successful, by actively engage with relevant stakeholders
- Be the ambassador between the program and the central QA organization
To succeed you will have:
- Excellent knowledge and experience in:
- Test and quality assurance
- Test techniques and tools (e.g. Jira Xray, Postman)
- Agile testing
- Establishing/Implementation of test processes
- Automated testing (framework implementation)
- +3 years of experience in managing quality team/role
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- An agile mindset
- Great communication skills, incl. fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good organizational implementation skills
It’s nice-to-have:
- Knowledge and experience in Financial Sector and the Business Banking segment
- Knowledge on testing on mainframe/data warehouses/APIs/events

At BEC, we work in a hybrid remote model, coming into the office an average of 3 days a week and with an option to work remotely for 2 days a week.
