Are you curious about how commercial decisions are made in Denmark’s largest retailer? Do you enjoy working with data, improving processes, and taking responsibility from day one? Then you might be our new Student Assistant in Commercial Trade Planning & Pricing.

Our team is a mix of young professionals — most around 30 — who work closely together to drive promotion planning, evaluate weekly offers, and support our formats Netto, føtex, Bilka, and BR. We value teamwork, openness, and a healthy dose of fun in our everyday work.

What you’ll be working on

As our new Student Assistant, you’ll be trusted with real responsibility and tasks that truly matter to the business. A typical week includes:

Core responsibilities (approx. 1 day per week)

  • Own the weekly competitor promotion pricing report — one of our key inputs to decision‑making
  • Evaluate our weekly key offers and help ensure we bring strong, competitive deals to customers

Project work tailored to your interests (approx. 1 day per week)

Depending on what motivates you, you can work with projects such as:

  • Improving trade planning processes
  • Supporting consultants with analyses and presentations
  • Developing smarter ways of working in Excel or PowerPoint
  • Learning or using tools like Power BI, SQL or R (optional — not required)
  • Helping shape future promotion strategies across our formats

Who we think you are

We imagine you are:

  • Studying business, economics, IT or similar (bachelor or early master)
  • Analytical and curious — you enjoy diving into data
  • Responsible and proactive — you like owning your tasks
  • Comfortable in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Someone who thrives in a social, collaborative team

Working hours

Approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility during exams.
