Digital Solutions Architect

Do you want to build modern, cloud-based solutions using .NET, Azure, and AI in an organization that makes a real difference for children around the world?

We are looking for a highly experienced .NET profile (10+ years) who can take a leading role in shaping and delivering scalable digital solutions on the Microsoft platform. This is not just a developer role. You are expected to combine hands-on development with architectural responsibility and technical leadership.

You will work across the full .NET stack, from user-facing applications to backend services, and help ensure that we build robust, secure, and future-proof solutions that support our work for children and young people.

About the role

You will play a central role in both implementation and architectural direction, acting as a senior technical sparring partner across the organisation.

You will:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable .NET-based applications, APIs, and services
  • Take ownership of architectural decisions and ensure alignment with best practices
  • Develop cloud-native solutions in Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management)
  • Drive work with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and secure, scalable cloud architecture
  • Build integrations across internal systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations & Customer Insights)
  • Develop data-driven solutions and ensure strong data handling practices
  • Identify and implement relevant AI use cases (e.g. automation, enrichment, intelligent features)
  • Use AI tools critically to improve development quality and productivity
  • Contribute to technical standards, code quality, and documentation
  • Translate business needs into concrete, maintainable technical solutions

This role is based at our Copenhagen office. We expect you to be physically present, especially during the initial period, to build strong collaboration and understanding of our organisation. Over time, there will be flexibility for remote work.

We imagine that you:

  • Have 10+ years of experience working with .NET and modern web technologies (e.g. ASP.NET, Blazor, Razor Pages or similar)
  • Have worked in a senior or lead role, with responsibility for architecture and technical direction
  • Have solid experience with Azure and cloud-native development
  • Have built integrations and data-driven services across systems
  • Are comfortable working with SQL and structured data
  • Have practical experience applying AI in a development context (APIs, services, or tooling)
  • Are able to distinguish real value from hype when working with AI
  • Work in a structured and pragmatic way and communicate well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Thrive in a role that combines hands-on coding with architectural thinking

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM and/or Finance & Operations)

Education:

  • A relevant higher education degree (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar). Equivalent practical experience at a high level is also valued.

Language:

  • Fluent in English (required). Danish is an advantage.
