To support the continuous expansion strategy, we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Product Manager to join the Product Team. In this role, you’ll lead a cross-functional team in ideation, development, and launch of new features and products.

The Product Manager Role

As Product Manager for “Compliance” you will be responsible for a strategic important domain at SameSystem, driving a unique selling point for their product and creating features that make a genuine impact on our customers' business and their employees.

Your objective is to take complex legislation around workforce management and transform it into streamlined and value-orientated systems that elegantly solve problems behind the scenes and – when needed – offer the end users intuitive experiences that help them overcome their challenges.

SameSystem empowers top-tier retail and food-service companies to expand across Europe, thanks to its industry-leading compliance solutions tailored for these sectors. In this role, you will be entrusted with developing the framework to accurately retrieve, interpret, and implement diverse compliance requirements throughout Europe. You will also have considerable autonomy to shape and lead your team to excel in this critical function, ensuring the clients can seamlessly navigate the complex regulatory landscape.

As a Product Manager you will work together with frontend as well as backend developers, and product designers. The Product Owner responsibilities falls upon the Product Manager, and while it’s your responsibility to apply and implement best practices in your team, it often turns into a shared effort, as you’re surrounded by experienced and motivated team members.

You will explore both the problem and solution space and identify the best way to deliver value to the customers based on the strategic direction. With experience and demonstrated outcome delivery, you can expect autonomy and the freedom to identify new business opportunities and leveraging market research to guide product development.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a driven Project Manager with a keen interest in this field. While a legal background isn't required—thanks to the comprehensive legal support available to you—a natural curiosity about the subject is essential. This role demands someone who can quickly grasp the nuances of our industry, facilitating meaningful discussions with stakeholders and customers. Your insights will be pivotal in driving meetings and interviews towards productive and tangible outcomes.

You have a great technical understanding that enables you to communicate well with developers and participate in discussions on how to solve complex problems – especially with scalability in mind.

You set high standards, but also recognize that things can move fast, and sometimes you need to compromise to meet short deadlines. You’re able to multitask and keep structure, identifying quick wins, long-term opportunities, and prioritizing accordingly.

In the ideas you push forward, you understand how it adds value – both when it comes to pure user experience, but also when it comes to enhancing SameSystems unique selling points.
