Experienced Developer for complex Data Handling

Join a market-leading company recognized as one of Denmark’s Best IT workplaces

You’ll become part of an experienced, agile team working on a brand-new SaaS platform delivering PropTech solutions, developed with modern technologies and a clear focus on quality.

This is a role where your contribution makes a real difference

At Unik, we invest in people. We support your professional development and long-term career growth, and we believe in creating a working culture that fits naturally into everyday life. Flexible, part-time remote work is an integrated part of how we work and collaborate.

Working at Unik

You will join a strong technical team with a high degree of autonomy and real influence on system design and technical decisions. The team is responsible for transforming and integrating data from legacy on‑premise solutions into a new SaaS platform built on modern architecture.

This is not a straightforward migration. The work involves re‑thinking existing data, mapping it into entirely new domain models, and solving structural and semantic challenges that arise when legacy assumptions meet a new platform. You will be dealing with inconsistencies and gaps in the data – and designing solutions that ensure integrity, reliability, and long‑term usability.

The work is not limited to a one‑off migration. As Unik expands into new markets and onboards customers internationally, new data will continuously need to be transformed and integrated. This makes data transformation an ongoing and evolving part of the platform, closely tied to how new customers are successfully brought onto the SaaS solution.

In addition, the team develops tooling to identify, analyze, and correct data inconsistencies, giving you the opportunity to help shape best practices and directly influence the quality and robustness of the new platform.

Our next-generation software is built using state-of-the-art agile principles and is designed to meet our customers’ high expectations for quality and reliability. Each team includes a dedicated Scrum Master, Product Owner, and relevant specialists, and collaborates closely with 11 other teams to build a complex, best‑in‑class product from scratch.

You’ll work closely with QA engineers, guilds, and colleagues across the organization, supported by our Architects and IT department to ensure you have the right tools and technologies to succeed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a developer with strong technical skills and genuine curiosity about the business domain. You’re interested in understanding the data, how it’s used, how the product works, and how it creates value for customers.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, contribute with positive energy, and take pride in building solutions that are both robust and meaningful.

Be a part of a unique community in a leading Proptech company

With almost 40 years of experience, Unik has positioned itself with the market's most widely used software solutions within property management. We employ more than 200 employees and consultants located in Aalborg, Copenhagen, Warsaw and at our head office in Vejle, and we serve more than 450 customers. From large private property managers to public housing associations.

History

Unik was established in Vejle in 1985 by Jens Find, who is currently CEO. With Unik Bolig for the property manager and Unik Advosys for the legal industry, Unik established itself as a leading software supplier in the Danish market. In the transition to becoming a SaaS provider – also known as Software-as-a-Service providers – Unik entered a strategic partnership with Main Capital Partners in 2023. In this context, Unik was divided into two independent companies, each with its own industry focus, and Unik therefore focuses exclusively on IT solutions for property management today.
