Agile QA Lead

We are looking for an experienced Agile QA Lead to drive our quality strategy and ensure consistently high reliability across our product suite. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in defining and maturing our QA practices - empowering teams to deliver high‑quality solutions through strong test automation, structured processes, and proactive collaboration.

Quality assurance is a core part of how we build software at Unik. As QA Lead, you will be a central contributor in defining QA strategy, tooling, and quality processes to ensure our solutions meet the high standards our customers expect. Leveraging ISTQB‑aligned practices, you will help ensure a consistent, risk‑based approach to testing, clear terminology, and a well‑structured test lifecycle across all teams. You will ensure alignment on QA practices across our development teams and act as a key quality stakeholder in cross‑team planning and architectural discussions, and long‑term platform decisions.

You will join a team of 4 skilled QA engineers - coaching them, supporting their performance development, and assisting with recruitmen - while staying hands‑on where it adds value. This includes participating in refinements, reviewing test strategies, contributing to automation efforts, and ensuring consistent use of best practices. Working closely with Management and Product Owners, you will also help prioritize QA work and surface risks early so they can be addressed proactively, ensuring a reliable and predictable delivery pipeline.

The QA team is part of the Development department and works in a distributed setup across Denmark and Poland, collaborating closely with 11 development teams operating across five functional areas to build a complex, best‑in‑class PropTech platform. What we are looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience preferably with lead responsibilities
• ISTQB certified
• Experience with defining and driving implementation of QA strategies
• Knowledgeable in leveraging AI tools to accelerate and refine test cases
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Testing of large-scale platforms
• Experience with API testing and relevant test automation tools
• Strong skills in creating test scenarios and automated test cases
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gates
• Experience with Cypress Cloud and TypeScript
