About the role

We are looking for an experienced and forward thinking Technical Solutions Architect who can translate business needs into robust, scalable, and future proof technical solutions. You will play a key role in defining our architectural direction, guiding strategic initiatives, and ensuring technical excellence across the organization.

A crucial part of this role is supporting teams during business critical incidents - diagnosing issues, stabilizing services, and resolving complex technical problems under pressure. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization and act as a trusted advisor in both technical and strategic discussions.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Design and maintain solution architecture for new and existing systems.
• Advise business stakeholders and development teams on technical possibilities and constraints.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements, technology choices, and implementation.
• Design integration patterns, API structures (SOAP, REST, GraphQL), and data models.
• Design Java based services using Spring Boot.
• Integrate solutions with identity and security frameworks (e.g., SAML2).
• Participate in technology evaluations and platform selections.
• Produce high quality technical documentation and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to governance, architectural principles, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high quality delivery.
• Support critical incident handling by troubleshooting complex issues and guiding teams toward fast and effective resolution.

About you

We imagine that you have several years of experience working with architecture or complex software development. Your educational background is less important than your technical insight, curiosity, and ability to communicate clearly.

We expect you to bring:

• Solid experience as a Solutions Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Developer.
• Strong understanding of modern architectural principles.
• Experience with API design, microservices, integrations, and event driven architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automation (Azure DevOps).
• Experience working with enterprise scale system landscapes.
• The ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and effectively.
• A structured, analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality and clarity.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective during high pressure, business critical incidents.
