Business analyst (senior)

This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde and you will join our Credit Risk Data & Monitoring team placed in 2 locations — Denmark and Poland. It is in the Reporting Solutions domain which is responsible for delivering solutions supporting banks in their monitoring and reporting tasks, ensuring compliance with requirements from the Danish FSA and central bank.

The Senior Business Analyst role offers you the possibility to work with our existing solutions in the credit risk area as well as participate in BEC’s tech transformation journey. Acting as the link between the business approach of our customers and the technical world of our developers occasional travel might be required.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also have the flexibility to work remotely if and when our efficient and effective teamwork allows.

Your direct manager will be Anders Bjerregaard Andersen.

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Analysis of business requirements: Translating business requirements into understandable information for the team, ensuring team deliverables provide the desired value.
• Management of customer expectations: Ensuring continuous alignment of expectations between customer needs/problems and possible solutions.
• Solution refinement: Driving solution refinement and ensuring designed solutions deliver measurable value and contributing to planning and estimation processes.
• Solution implementation: Acting as the primary point of contact for the implementation of solutions targeted at specific groups, including providing comprehensive implementation support and delivering user education.
• Quality assurance: Managing planning, executing and following up on test activities together with the team and the Quality Assurance coordinator.
• Maintenance of documentation: Writing and updating handbooks, user guides, business cases, operational information, etc.

To succeed you will have:

• Several years of proven experience as Senior Business Analyst in the financial industry or similar
• A keen interest in credit risk and regulatory reporting
• A supportive attitude towards colleagues, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and participate in team activities
• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others
• A proactive and self-driven approach
• Fluent Danish and English skills (written and spoken)

It’s nice-to-have:

• Experience in working in agile organizations (Scrum, SAFE)
• Experience in Jira
