Business Intelligence Student Assistant

Everllence PrimeServ is looking for a high-performing and eager-to-grow Finance, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence (or similar) student to support our continuous journey in improving the financial and business insights through our data.

As a Business Intelligence Student Assistant, you will be a key member of our team, supporting the organization's data needs by assisting with data management and analysis tasks, as well as supporting the implementation and maintenance of business intelligence tools and systems. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data sources and technologies and will play a key role in helping the organization make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

More specifically, you will as a Business Intelligence Student Assistant:
- Develop, optimize and maintain data-driven analytical performance tracking reports in Power BI.
- You’ll help us understand our commercial data landscape, collaborate with data engineers to bring new data into our SQL environment, and ensure that the underlying structure makes sense before building anything on top of it.
- You’ll develop SQL views and data models based on best‑practice modeling principles, ensuring we have clean, transparent and consistent logic behind our data models using Tabular Editor.
- We work in a DevOps environment using Azure DevOps with repos, pull requests, pipelines, and version control. You’ll be part of that workflow, reviewing changes, committing updates, and helping keep our development process structured and transparent.
- Provide in-depth analysis of a broad range of business activities.
- Create and support the business with ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.
We imagine that you:
- Are currently an enrolled student at a business school or university within the field of Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering or Business Intelligence (or similar).
- Possess a strong financial understanding and have highly evolved analytical skills
- Have experience in data visualization in Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Have knowledge in SQL language and relational databases
- Are comfortable with Excel (e.g. filters, pivot tables, lookup formulas, index/match)
- Have some programming experience, e.g. Python, C# or similar, will be considered as a plus
- Possess great communication and presentation skills in English
- Can work appr. 15 hours a week (flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule)
