About the position

Within the Hans Just Group, Digital Excellence supports all areas of the business and is designed to accelerate and implement strategic and digital programs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing our cybersecurity strategy, ensuring that our systems, data, and infrastructure remain protected against current and emerging threats and in addition ensure NIS2 compliance across our Group.

You will be the go-to person for IT operations and manage vendor relationships – all while contributing to the continued digitalization of our Nordic business.

The role

As IT Operations & Cyber Security Manager you will report to and align closely with the Head of Digitalization and be supported by an IT Operations Specialist. The role is highly self-driven, yet collaborative – you will work with local management, local stakeholders, external vendors and consultants to ensure that Hans Just Group’s IT systems are stable, secure, and compliant across all four countries.

You will take the project management on IT operations and cyber security, balancing proactive infrastructure management with strategic security initiatives. Our IT landscape is working towards a cloud-based and centers on Microsoft 365. You will work closely with external IT partners and take responsibility for ensuring that vendor relationships, security controls, and compliance requirements are in order at all times.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for IT operations across Hans Just Group’s four Nordic entities, working closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure NIS2 compliance across all IT systems, including implementing, documenting, and anchoring relevant security controls.
  • Manage and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, Entra ID, Conditional Access, CopilotChat and MFA
  • Support the adoption of GenAI tools like CopilotChat and assist colleagues to get the most out of the tools and understand guardrails
  • Oversee operations related to Business Central, Dynamics 365, and our proprietary business systems, ensuring stability and continuity
  • Develop and maintain backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and incident response procedures
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract terms, information security obligations, and supplier declarations (ISAE 3402)
  • Monitor IT systems, manage vulnerability handling, patch management, and ensure ongoing security awareness across the organization
  • Design and implement network architecture solutions that support security, scalability, and performance across Nordic locations
  • Project management of backlog and communication of such to relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute technical input and sparring on IT security investments and initiatives as part of the broader digital transformation journey
  • Contribute to other compliance areas such as GDPR, AI act and other future legislation
  • Contribute to other ad hoc projects within IT Operations and Cyber Security

The ideal candidate will succeed in this role by:

  • Bringing solid experience in IT operations and/or cyber security, ideally from a role with multi-site or multi-country responsibility
  • Profiles from both consultancy, project management and in-house IT Operations & Security can thrive in this role due to the large change management component
  • In-depth knowledge of NIS2 and ISO 27001 frameworks, with a demonstrated ability to translate compliance requirements into practical IT security measures
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 security and administration, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Defender, Copilot and Azure
  • Experience with ITIL or comparable service management frameworks, and a structured approach to IT processes and documentation, is a plus
  • Experience with network architecture, firewall management, and securing cloud-based IT environments
  • Solid vendor management skills, including oversight of external IT partners, SLAs, and supplier information security requirements
  • Ability to communicate technical security topics clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders across four different cultural contexts
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security certifications) are a plus
  • Knowledge or experience with relevant legislation such as GDPR, AI Act are a plus

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of one or more Nordic languages is an advantage

The role is based in one of our Nordic offices: Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo or Stockholm. Travel time for projects is expected.
