Business In­tel­li­gence Student Assistant

Do you have a strong analytical mindset? Do you enjoy coding, processing data and conceptualize them into analytical reports? Then you might be our new Business Intelligence Student Assistant.

You will play an important role in:

Everllence Finance & Controlling is looking for two motivated and eager-to-grow student assistants to support our continuous journey in improving financial and business insights through data.

You will be a key member of our BI team, working close to both business stakeholders and the underlying data infrastructure.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain analytical reports in Power BI
  • Provide technical support for existing BI applications and data solutions
  • Clean, structure, and model raw data to improve analytical insights
  • Design and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory
  • Create and maintain tables, views, and queries in SQL Server
  • Create and maintain Python scripts for data ingestion
  • Deliver ad‑hoc reports and analyses as required
  • Provide in‑depth analysis to support business decision‑making

Our data & BI stack:

  • SAP (migration to S/4 planned for next year)
  • Azure SQL Database as our core data layer
  • Azure Data Factory for data integration
  • Power BI for semantic modelling, reporting and insights

Over the coming years, we plan to transition parts of our platform towards Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, giving you exposure to modern cloud-based analytics architectures.

We imagine that you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (towards the end) or Master’s program of relevance (e.g.
  • Engineering, AI, Data Science, Finance or Business Analytics).
  • Have a strong interest in data, systems and analytics – basic financial knowledge is an advantage
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data to solve real-world problems
  • Are comfortable communicating and presenting in English
  • Thrive by working independently as well as in teams
  • Have hands-on experience or strong interest in programming, e.g. Python or similar
  • Have basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (or strong motivation to learn)
  • Have experience with or curiosity for data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Are comfortable with Excel (e.g. filters, pivot tables, lookup formulas)
  • Can work approx. 15 hours a week (flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule)
