Student Assistant for Market Analysis & Forecasting

Join our team at Everllence in Copenhagen, and become directly involved in business development and forecasts in one of the world’s leading engineering companies. As part of our team, you will conduct data analysis, forecasting, and reporting on the global economy, particularly within the international shipping market.
This role offers flexible working hours (8-20 hours per week).
You will play an important role in:
- Supporting market research and analysis across the global shipping market and broader macroeconomic developments
- Data extraction, transformation, and loading, including data visualization and automation
- Developing and maintaining Power BI reports
- Maintaining and enhancing SQL databases
- Preparing and presenting impactful PowerPoint presentations
- Supporting the team and wider organization with ad-hoc analytical tasks and projects
We imagine that you:
- Are in the final stage of your Bachelor’s degree or at the beginning of your Master’s within Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
- Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Are familiar with, or have an interest in, SQL (or similar), databases, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Work effectively both independently and in a team setting
Welcome to Market Analysis & Forecasting
You will join the Market Analysis & Forecasting team within the Finance function, where our work forms the foundation for key business decisions. We develop forecasts that support budget planning and assess market potential for business case development and the introduction of new products and technologies.
We are responsible for providing the organization with a continuous view of what is shaping the shipping industry - covering everything from fuel prices and freight rates to geopolitical developments, emerging technologies, competitive dynamics, and broader macroeconomic trends.
The team is small and collaborative, working closely together across tasks and topics, while maintaining daily dialogue with other departments on a range of projects. Our team reports directly to the local Chief Financial Officer of Everllence, Denmark.
