CIFI Developer
Who are we?
We’re an indie game studio with a clear mission: creating deeply replayable mobile games (and eventually PC games) built around incremental and rogue-lite mechanics, meaningful progression, and long-term engagement.
Our approach has already proven itself. One of our titles has won Incremental Game of the Year three years in a row, and we take great pride in the direction, craftsmanship, and care that go into everything we build.
While creativity and personality are core to our identity, we operate with a highly professional and forward-thinking mindset, and value people who genuinely care about quality.
What truly sets us apart from many mobile studios is our philosophy around monetization. We don’t rely on exploitative systems. No forced ads. No gacha mechanics. No predatory premium systems. Just honest game development focused on making games players genuinely love spending time with.
At Octocube Games, flexibility matters. We work a 35-hour week and believe work should support life, not the other way around. Core hours fall within 10:00–16:30, but there’s plenty of room to shape your schedule around your day-to-day life.
And when life gets messy? We understand. Unless we’re in the middle of a critical sprint, we trust people to take the time they need. No elaborate excuses required. As long as there’s a responsible plan for handling the work, we’d rather you recharge than burn out.
We also value focus. We don’t believe in endless meetings or corporate busywork. We’re a close-knit indie team with high standards and a strong sense of ownership. Everyone contributes meaningfully, everyone carries their weight, and everyone has the opportunity to grow.
