Operations and process controller

Are you fluent in German? Are you skilled in Excel, SQL or Power BI, with a key interest in data? And would you like to make a difference for renewable energy asset owners, especially in the German market? If yes, then you might be our new operations and process controller!

The job

Here’s what the job entails

In the role, your primary responsibility will be to make sure that new customers and their assets are onboarded accurately and promptly. To accomplish this task, you will work closely with our customer-facing teams in Danske Commodities.

Your areas of responsibility will include:

  • support customer operations, particularly in the German market
  • report to external parties (Remote control, Grid operators)
  • maintain and validate data (asset data, metering data and customer data)
  • communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • follow up on updates of new market rules

Meet the team

You will join our Customer Operations & Reporting team, which handles trade validation, master data, customer onboarding and compliance reporting. Our purpose is to gather all tasks related to the operations of our trading and customer business, acting as the operational link in Danske Commodities and connecting the entire value chain. We create value by ensuring proper onboarding, timely reporting and high-quality trade controlling. Gathering these tasks in one team allows for a more efficient operational trading setup – while also paving the way for us to grow our customer business.

We are a diverse team of 15 skilled, quality-minded and committed employees, covering different areas within trade and data validations, master data registration, customer onboarding and compliance reporting.

"You will play an important role in our value chain as you will be responsible for onboarding our customer (such as owners of wind turbines or photovoltaic parks) as well as the operations related to customer activities" - Maria Terp-Nielsen, Head of Customer Operations & Reporting.

But enough about us… over to you!

As you will be working with a lot of data that requires great attention to detail, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented. You should also take a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, choosing the best solution for each problem, to secure functional business operations.

We also imagine that you:

  • have experience with either Excel, SQL or Power BI
  • are interested in working with data
  • have solid coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • thrive on working in a structured manner and enjoy operational tasks
  • are proficient in German and English – both written and verbal

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
