Software development with impact

To spearhead the ‘Digital Product’ team, we are looking for a senior software developer, with hands-on experience with programming microservices. Your preferred microservice frameworks are Java - Spring Boot or C# .NET - ASP.NET.

On a typical workday, you would be:

• Implementing best-of-class microservices, in the context of
  • A monolith-to-microservices conversion project
  • New products that deliver business value
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to co-build.
• Providing technical guidance on doing-microservices: practices, patterns, ….
• Wearing different developer hats (architectural analysis to code implementation), if this is something you like to do.

A software developer background is required to be successful in this role. We envision someone, who:

• Enjoys coding.
• Is a pragmatic doer with a mindset and drive that fits our digitalisation initiative.
• Has strong programming proficiency and experience with microservices frameworks.
• Has a proven track record of developing high-quality, secure microservice-based products.
• Might even have worked on a monolith-to-microservices conversion of a high-load, critical system (this is a plus).
• Has expertise with, or affinity for quickly adopting, related tools and technologies: Cloud (Azure), CI/CD, (Open)API, containerisation, event architecture, … just to name a few.

Our ideal candidate brings 3+ years of relevant experience.
