IT Specialist and Consultant for SAP S/4HANA

Do you want to contribute to visualising and developing solutions to our key business and technical challenges as a part of our SAP S/4HANA journey? And are you keen to work across borders and departments and have a full-circle role in your projects – from idea and scope to implementation and operation?

In the Business Solutions department, we work closely with the business, and you can look forward to cooperating with highly skilled colleagues in an open, informal environment where your input may become the next global functionality.

Join the truly global Record to Report team

Based out of our HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will join the Record to Report Team within the Business Solutions department. The team consists of 12 employees, and together, we are responsible for the full life cycle of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO/SD/MM projects globally with a focus on Record to Report processes.

In addition, we support and improve our business processes and make sure that we stay compliant with legal regulations in various countries.

The department is spread over 14 countries, so we’re a truly international unit that works extremely well together across teams – with an emphasis on open communication and a helpful atmosphere

Ewa Bujak, Director, Business Solutions.

Take ownership of SAP projects

As our new IT Specialist and SAP Consultant, you will be cooperating widely with both members of the team and department but also cross-functionally when participating in projects regarding SAP S/4HANA.

On some development tasks, you will be working independently as a functional consultant in close collaboration with your business counterpart. As we roll out the template and new functionalities, you will be part of a project team to ensure successful completion.

More specifically, you will:

  • Provide solution recommendations, consider scope and client requirements as well as take care of the configurations on SAP modules within FI/CO/SD/MM
  • Provide functional support on SAP modules within FI/CO/SD/MM
  • Ensure proper technical design, configuration, business requirements gathering and creation of technical specifications
  • Prepare requirements, design and technical documentation
  • Assess impact and gaps in the current business processes
  • Work with the business and other SAP professionals to craft, implement, test, train, and rollout solutions

On occasion, there will be travel requirements – e.g. for our annual team meeting and to optimise project initiation and implementation through face-to-face interaction.

Solid SAP knowledge and great interpersonal skills

With your strong people and communication skills, you are able to navigate seamlessly across teams, departments, borders as well as professional levels. You also thrive in a busy environment where needs and deadlines can change quickly. Moreover, you can drive tasks forward independently while also appreciating a team-oriented setting.

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar
  • Solid experience in SAP ERP as a FI-CO functional consultant with experience in global roll-outs
  • Ideally some years of S/4 HANA experience or a keen interest in getting up to speed quickly
  • Experience in preparing requirements documentation, design and technical documentation
  • Technology consulting expertise and the ability to drive workshops and training sessions
  • Written and verbal English proficiency
