Senior DeltaV Engineer

Cognizant is looking for a Senior DeltaV Engineer to commission and qualify DeltaV projects with our Danish customer on-site/hybrid in Hillerød. This full-time Senior DeltaV Engineer hybrid role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

As part of the C&Q Team, the Senior DeltaV Engineer will be on-site and eventually perform remote support, including on-call and weekend support. You will be part of state-of-the-art development, working with the strongest, most growing industry in the Nordics.

About the Team / Business Unit

As part of the C&Q Team the Senior DeltaV Engineer will collaborate on the avtivities to complete the DeltaV project on time. This position requires to be on site ans eventually perform remote support including On-Call and Weekend support. You will be part of state of the art development, working with the strongest, most growing industry in the Nordics. This team is building all the software and the infrastructure for the future manufacturing site for LS industry. You will be delivering high quality in a challenging and rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure technical alignment between the areas in the automation project by defining, describing and communicating design and code standards
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, etc., and input on technical elements of the design
• Support and deliver FATs/SATs and CQVs of the process systems to meet the overall project schedule
• Work closely together with other Automation Engineers on the CTS Team and Client Team to ensure deliverables are commissioned in time for the different milestones.
• Safeguard systems that are integrated in a compliant way on the clients network.
• Guide vendors, troubleshooting

To apply for this Senior DeltaV Engineer role, you will need Engineering or IT-related studies, with a certificate in DeltaV. You will also require the following:

Must Haves:

• Experience in manufacturing proceesses
• University qualification in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated capability for delivering complex automation projects technically from initial design and development through to the validation of the facility in support of defined objectives
• Systems platform experience of DCS; Emerson DeltaV is essential
• Experience working within a regulated environment delivering automation commissioning/start-up.
• Has a deep process understanding of production processes used for DS and DP like upstream, downstream processes and has a deep knowledge of automation system architectures.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
