Do you understand cloud architecture and have experience using OpenStack? And would you like to help develop automated solutions for our new hybrid platform?

Join an agile environment where you will get to work with highly skilled and motivated colleagues at the heart of DSV, making your mark on an important tech stack.

Welcome to the Private Cloud Team

At DSV, we are well underway with building our new hybrid platform for both public and private clouds. Joining this endeavour, you will become part of the Hybrid Computing Platform (HCP) department in Global IT.

The department consists of a wide range of teams, and you will be joining our Private Cloud team. This infrastructure team consists of you, a product owner, site reliability engineers, and other specialists. Together, you will ensure that infrastructure products are developed, published, and maintained.

We’re still in the early stages of setting the team, so you and your new colleagues will be instrumental in defining how we operate,” explains Product Manager Roberto Marini.

Set the standards for our Private Cloud

As the team’s architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing OpenStack cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

You will collaborate closely with your team but also colleagues across the HCP department to architect and deploy complex cloud environments and solve a wide range of development tasks.

You will be setting the standards for the technologies, making your extensive knowledge count as you work with designing, building, implementing, analysing, and troubleshooting distributed, highly available systems. Moreover, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members and play a critical role in shaping DSV organization's cloud strategy and driving innovation.

Among other things, you can look forward to:

  • Enhancing and optimizing the efficiency and reliability of the OpenStack environment
  • Integrating OpenStack infrastructure with other technologies and systems
  • Identifying and resolving complex technical issues providing timely solutions

Organised, analytical and experienced with OpenStack

Your ability to work closely with your colleagues and manage stakeholders is just as important as your technical insights. Moreover, you are a true team player, but also highly autonomous and comfortable working within a dynamic environment in an ever-growing company, enabling you to stay even-keeled under pressure.

In addition, we imagine that you:
