Senior Quality Assurance Manager for modern Digital Products


Are you ready take the lead of Quality Assurance on DSV’s digital transformation products?

Join us and be the driving force behind the implementation of a modern and ambitious Quality Assurance strategy for a large portfolio of in-house developed enterprise software products.

You will own an established Quality Assurance team consisting of 25 Test Managers, QA Specialists and Test Developers. Together you will refine and implement a standardized QA framework across all digital products developed under DSV’s Enterprise Transformation umbrella.

Enterprise Transformation is responsible for building the data, software, and AI foundation, leading DSV towards its 2030 IT strategy. We develop digital products based on restful and event driven microservice architectures, using agile principles and modern technologies like Kafka, MongoDB and Kubernetes.

It is critical that you are a senior presence with a strong focus on communication, stakeholder management, as well as understanding both business and IT priorities.

You get in at the ground level in standardizing and centralizing quality assurance efforts across our digital product platforms. Take the pain out of software development

You will spend your first months with your team of Quality Assurance professionals optimizing for quality and efficiency though Acceptance Test Driven Development. You will build up a solid understanding of the digital products and become a central character in the department:

  • Develop and implement a unified test strategy for all modern digital products
  • Maintain a comprehensive roadmap and ensure initiatives are tracked and converted into value
  • Engage with stakeholders across DSV and ensure excellent understanding and alignment on QA activities
  • Break down complex challenges into digestible information for business and senior management
  • Develop standardized test automation on backends, frontends, and integrations
  • Manage your team under good leadership, and coordinate test resources to product teams in accordance with their requirements

For you to be successful in this position, we imagine that:

  • You bring several years of experience leading a Quality Assurance department and has a bachelor’s degree or higher - or equivalent experience.
  • you may have worked as a software developer or similar, granting you a general knowledge of the challenges product teams experience
  • You have at least foundational knowledge of microservice architectures and in-depth knowledge of the most common test tools.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills and command of the English language.
  • You can both challenge and convince the upper layers of the organisation
  • You have a good understanding best practices for incorporating security and quality perspectives as an integrated and automated part of CI/CD processes
