DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer you will work with Microsoft Azure based infrastructures managed using our configurable infrastructure-as-code blueprint framework. Our blueprint framework automates operations and maintenance of a solution infrastructure with secure and compliant defaults, using technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.

What will you be doing?

Since the Platform team sets the direction and decides the DevOps standards and tooling for the entire organization, it is important that you are curious about new technologies, that you are passionate about DevOps and has an eye for the overall architectural landscape. Your tasks will in collaboration with your colleagues include:

  • Supporting the automation and streamlining of our infrastructure, operations, and deployment processes.
  • Developing and maintaining tooling and automation-based monitoring of environments to provide proactive alerts on health and reliability.
  • Deploying, managing, and scaling the cloud infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving root cause issues in dev, test, and production environments.
  • Ensuring system security by implementing best practices and complying with data protection laws.
  • Documenting system configurations and procedures and participate in cost management of infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with the teams that build their products on top of the infrastructures for which you are responsible.

You have

  • Great problem-solving and technical skills including a profound interest in technology in an ever-changing technology landscape.
  • Experience with managing Kubernetes clusters, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability.
  • Experience with scripting for automation and experience with deploying and managing cloud infrastructure and cloud native applications.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, GitOps, and containerization tools.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security principles, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Ability to document and explain technical details clearly, with solid communication and collaboration skills.

  • Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jinja2, Kubernetes, Argo CD, Prometheus, Grafana, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure HCI Stack and many more.

Desired Skills and Experiences

  • Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience from related DevOps roles
  • Container architecture knowledge
  • IT-Security knowledge
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, Ansible and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with GitOps
  • English language proficiency
