The Cloud Architect will be responsible for the Microsoft Azure platform, and the continuous development hereof. You will, together with the other Cloud architects, continue to enhance the platform, and ensure that the Cloud platform stays current, compliant, secure and always fit for the business needs. You will collaborate with the infrastructure teams in DC, on maintaining a highly performant hybrid cloud infrastructure. It is important to make sure to always have the newest available knowledge in the field, and proactively execute necessary enhancements on the platform as needed.

The team

You will join a social, curious, and motivated team consisting of people with various backgrounds and cultures. The team works with the public cloud part of the DC IT infrastructure. The primary area of responsibility is within the maintenance and continuous development of the core infrastructure and public platform for the Line of Business applications. The role of the team is to ensure a current and modern state of the public cloud part of the DC IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Development, administration, support, implementation, maintenance, consolidation, standardization, optimization, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance – of the public cloud infrastructure
  • Support and advise IT and the business on the Azure platform and IT in general
  • Documentation of solutions, processes, procedures, standards, and training material
  • Security management, auditing and carry out corrective actions (e.g., patching, segregations of duties) to ensure adherence to the IT policy and procedures

Your qualifications

  • You have an education in computer science or similar
  • You have strong experience with Microsoft Azure services within enterprise architecture
  • You have experience with Terraform and Bicep
  • You have experience with IAC
  • You have experience with Azure DevOps and Github
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral

General knowledge of cloud security will be a plus as well as knowledge of PowerShell, Python, Azure Arc and HCI.
