Senior License Manager


Do you master the governance of Software License Management, and can you negotiate the best deals?

Then this might be the job for you. As License Manager, you will be involved in the management of software purchase, compliance, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning and consultancy contract handling in a large global company.

You will join DSV Global IT and our Software Asset Management (SAM) team of 12 highly skilled colleagues. The team is responsible for the whole Software Life Cycle from purchase to retirement. You will be based in our headquarters in Hedehusene, near Roskilde.

We operate in an international environment and maintain a tight co-operation with business units throughout DSV. You will have close dialogue with executive management and other key stakeholders in the global organisation and you will have a unique chance to influence the development of DSV’s Software Asset and License Management.

In the team, we focus on having a positive mental attitude and the desire and willingness to make things happen. While we work as a team we also operate independently, and you should be prepared to take individual and independent decisions.

Governance, Support and Compliance

As License Manager you will be the go-to person’ in the SAM Team, and in that way our expert on the subject. Moreover, you will:

  • Drive or participate in vendor selections from a licensing perspective
  • Independently negotiate with vendors, or together with IT Procurement
  • Ensure compliance for “your” products
  • Ensure budget facilitation for your portfolio
  • Secure control and transparency in software purchases

Software License Manager with solid experience working with SAM

It is a plus if you have worked with large agreements and governance, as well as being fluent in English. Furthermore, the following qualifications will be prioritised:

  • Software Asset Management
  • Negotiation skills
  • Experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions
  • Preferably experience with vendors such as IBM, Oracle, VMware, Citrix
